Hi there.

Currently I'm having a problem where my game will CTD after running with no problems for a decent period of time. It seems to fluctuate between 10 minutes and a few hours of solid gameplay and then it'll suddenly freeze and close itself.

I've attached the log so hopefully people who can read the output can tell me what's wrong. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing it in Desura to no avail.

Thanks in advance!

It looks like the log is not the right one, this could be from the demo.. or something, altogether fairly odd, maybe it's just old?

15:00:29: : RUNNING WITH RIFLES, version beta 0.77
15:00:29: : Map media/maps/map4/objects.svg doesn't exist, resort to default map

15:00:33: : latest available version: beta 0.76

You should find the new log in 0.89.1 in %appdata%\Running with rifles\ in Windows 7.

0.89.1 is known to have two crashy issues, the other one happens when a bot is in water and he becomes wounded or stunned, in this case the log ends with "CHECK: AI controller update, character dead". The other seems to be most frequent in Al Tabul with simulated AI wandering off into areas that are impassable, this one ends with "couldn't find a spot to respawn in block x, y near Powerhouse".

If you can find the right log, I'd very much love to see it, thanks!

Oops, I was wondering why I could never seem to find the point it failed at when reading it. I just assumed it was me not recognising what was happening. I've checked the log from the location you specified and it is the "CHECK:" error you mentioned. The only thing is I was playing Frostbite when it crashed most recently, so it may not be caused solely by water.

I've attached the actual log from this version now. Thanks for the quick response.

The only problem there is how easy it is to lose track of time with this game. A few hours only feels like 20 minutes!

It looks like you played "frostbite" and then it/you changed the map to map5, one of the water map causing troubles. In this case you crashed because of map5, not map4 (frostbite).
