I know you all want to kill me just for the title of this post alone but hear me out. :roll:

What i want is simply to be able to jump the gaps in between buildings.
To be able to run towards the edge of a roof holding space and if there is another building adjacent to the one I'm currently on then my character tries to jump the gap to the next one.

As it is now if we are on a roof and want to move to a building close to the one we are on, but they are not connected on the roof level we have to jump down run around the building (In some cases into enemy fire) and then find a ladder or another way up.

Just something I think would be neat to have.

Let the flaming commence!

Hello Pronaxen. Haha there is relatively little flaming on this forum so you are quite safe :P

If the gap is small enough, if you do a running dive (just movement + prone), you can actually get across building gaps to buildings that are slightly lower than the one you are currently on.

Later on however, buildings may get a revamp which results in raised edges that prevents you from simply falling off the edge or diving off the edge.

..actually i would like that feature you could jump from building to building if theres small enough cap and the roof where youre jumping would be almost at same level. (if 1 floor less it could jump there, but if one higher you cant jump there because its too high to reach)

Perhaps a sort of roll would work better, similar to Dark Souls or MGS4.

If a sprint is added maybe it could be li8ke Dark Souls where sprint and jump is the same button, but you need to be sprinting in order to jump... so hold sprint + tap to jump while running... maybe???

Heck, it could probably be the same button as the current mantle button, and it would function like in Assassin's Creed. Holding the button makes you sprint, and tapping near a wall or running into it would make you mantle it. Tapping the button while running would make you jump... but then you'll be running up to walls you don't really want to mantle and get killed, but it wouldn't take long to adjust.
