So one thing I've come across a lot lately is that if I'm a high rank (5000+) and want to hitch a ride on a jeep, the driver will only move if I give commands. I completely understand this mechanic and it makes some sense, but would it be difficult to add an option and/or key that would just tell them to drive at will? Sometimes I like to just sit back and shoot and not give driving commands.

One way this could work, I suppose, is to base the command priority on what you have your squad size set to, so if you set it to zero but still have a 5000 rep (which is what I often do) they would drive autonomously, but if you had it set to 5, they wouldn't.

Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks for taking a look.

I think it could be made to work simply so that by not having/giving the squad target, the driver (which is the other squad leader) would just drive where they were going anyway. It could be then interrupted by giving the target and also cancelled by clicking on self.

Making the vehicle just stop would be impossible then, hmm. Not sure if the driver would actually wait for your squad to reach the vehicle without you keeping it still by not giving the target, currently.

Hmm that sounds like a pretty reasonable solution. I don't know if waiting for your squad is a huge issue under these circumstances (after all, the player has deliberately limited their squad size so probably doesn't care that much).
