Aloha, I've just came up with a great idea in my opinion here i go

Say a grenade goes off and you just out of the radius of death and you just get blown off your feet and fall to the floor. So you are dazed for 2 to 3 seconds and then you get up.

Now this can really give more devastating effects to a grenade not just killing but knocking other over bringing them out of cover i think it be cool to see your self get blasted 3 feet away from explosion and just see 5 others die.

another suggestion maybe a certain chance if you add fire to dead vehicles it have a 20% chance of catching the grass and trees on fire. That or implement a Molotov cocktail.I'm a pyromaniac :D

I do not know if it would be possible to add burning trees and grass... But I would love to see fire playing some role in this war :) Personally I would be delighted to see a flametrhower in action! Especially if it would be possible to set enviroment on fire and watch it burning (Far Cry 2 like) ;) And I am also a pyromaniac :D

Well it could work for maybe taller grasses or only wide lands of grass not the small sections in cities

Why not go with adding a molotov grenade that burns an area for say ~15 seconds? it would be very useful for fighting in cities, not so much in the open, though.

burning trees and grass will surely not happen but fire particles in general will be implemented (burning vehicles) so why not also implementing molotov cocktails. At least it's not impossible but definitely not a near future thing as we anyway have a lot of cool stuff which need to happen first.

I could see this change to the grenade explosion being a nice addition of "action packed" opportunities, as long as attention is paid to over lapping AOE if this change involves expanding the AOE.

But, yes: this feature could add a lot to the use and evasion of grenades. I've gotten much better at running from grenades, however it would be great to get the slim chance to just barely survive. Plus it could help clear out a few more in big groups, making the opportunities for a rush much better.

The Flamethrower suggestion: I like this idea to as the other player brought up. I'd like to see it having the obvious issue of exploding if shot from the right angle though. The threat of flame throwers should go both ways, if implemented. Big damage but big threat to allies if hit right plus the limitations of weight and range. However this weapon could/would be more useful if/when you guys implement buildable structures. [ Is there a forum page to discuss field structures? ]

And fire could be nice. Yet as a low end comp gamer (I really wish I could upgrade to something grand, but real life you know...well real life that doesn't involve making games :D ) I'm just concerned for frame rate issues. Shadows, water and fire/bloom tend to run down the fps for people like me. So I request, on behalf of those such as myself, that you allow for some low level setting. Especially if fire obviously is a threat.

So yes on a chance to get blown out of blast radius if close to the edge.
And yes on fire with the hopes for some low end settings.
