Forgive my utter ignorance in the matter, but I just wanted to confirm my suspicion: Multiplayer only works during this sessions, right?

I'm asking because I bought the game back when the scenery where just gray boxes and gave it a try, but never quite understood where the fight was and stopped playing it. I was reminded of the game somewhere (probably RPS) and decided to give it another go, and fuck (am I allowed to say fuck in here?) I was blow away. It's crazy fun, looking beatiful and pretty solid. I've played all the maps a couple of times and I wanted to try and get outsmarted by an anonymous human player hidding between the endless waves of AI soldiers...

...and I missed it by 3 days

So, when is the next session? I want to try this Invasion mode you guys talk about.

There is a program here http://www.modulaatio.com/runningwithrifles/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=539 that you can use to monitor the status of the servers. You can also host online games for you and your friends!

Anyways, the most important thing is that multiplayer is a constant thing. These sessions are just organized for a larger population to get on at the same time.

So hop on the IRC and grab the server watcher tool i linked up above and get shootin.
