The fee has nothing to do with it.

One, the biggest, reason is that there's no captivating thumbnail image for RWR yet. It's hard to highlight the best parts of the game in one 200x200 image, and as it stands, there's no concept art which could be used.

Another reason is that a fresh promo video would be of utmost importance when RWR gets on Greenlight.

You can count on it that me and JackMayol are currently doing things to fix the situation.

I have a question, if this gets on steam will Desura purchasers get to pick if they want a Desura or steam code?

Hmm, no, a Desura purchaser would already have the game in Desura, right? The codes are for personal use, though obviously I'm not going to monitor it in any way whether someone's going to give the code on to friend or not.

So if I want it on steam I'd have to buy it again? Other games like Project Zomboid and Xenonauts will let you pick if you want a key for Desura or Steam for the final version. Didn't know if you guys were doing that.

Sorry, I probably understood you wrong the first time, I was under impression you'd already seen this in either Steam or the RWR website Purchase -page
NOTE: All pre-purchasers will also get a Steam activation key for RWR, if RWR gets greenlit in Steam.

This means that in addition to the Desura/BMTMicro (or both) streams of beta updates and the final version there, you'll also get the Steam key, which may happen during the beta or not. There is no choice to be made to convert the new Steam key to a key of another service.

This means that you'll have the final version in both Desura and Steam.
