Hmm, I think I see what you're saying now IronStrIkEr, but that's already easily possible with mods. As far as I know the game doesn't use checksums when playing online, so it's easy to modify weapon models to your liking.
For example, if you
download this little thing here that I just whipped up and extract it to your running-with-rifles folder, it will replace the G36 with the FN F2000. It'll still be called the G36 ingame, but it will look like the FN F2000 in both the game and on the HUD.
It's not possible to change the name yet, as the displayed name is also, as far as I know, what the game uses to identify the weapon.
Glad that you understood

and thank you for the link! Is that model made by you? Looks amazing...just could be a bit darker, grey instead of almost white. But the rest is awesome - the shape of the weapon and the rail...

It is possible to change the name in the weapon_specifications in [RWR directory folder/media/models].Open with notepad, find G36 and change the name to FN F2000.
Also a possibility to create insane weapons (High Velocity Bullet Shotgun with 100 projectiles)
Thank you for the tip. Works!
Well I got now the perfect configuration for the FN F2000. For everyone who wants the F2000 instead of the g36 - here a little tutorial:
At first download the F2000 files from the link that Legensmith posted above. overwrite the G36 with the delivered files. After that you open the file "weapon_specification" like ZnasVecKo already wrote. There you search for the line "name: g36" and change the name to "FN F2000" or "F2000". After that you paste under the line (in the G36 settings) "<commonness value="0.2" />" the following: <weak_hand_hold offset="-0.2" />", this is for the bullpup reload animation...and the F2000 is complete.
