AS shown in this screenshot, when AI attacks East Farm from East Beach, they will be stuck in the upper part of East Beach and unable to attack downwards (as highlighted in pink). I hope this can be fixed soon.

Do you still happen to have a savegame of that situation? On Windows 7 / Vista, the saves are stored in C:\ProgramData\Running with rifles\savegames, hope you can find it. From there, it should be easy for me to check what is it that's holding back the attacking AI in your case.

Looks like you have a lot of soldiers out there; do you remember which soldier count setting you had in that game?

EDIT: that's map2 btw, so if you find the savegames, pick the ones associated for map2, not map3 :)

Yep I had this too once. Deleted the savegame later when cleaning up the terrifying line of played games later the day though. Too bad.

And I think pasik's quite familiar with my complaints about same situations before - those somehow disappeared in a version that I can't remember, but seems like that they're coming back from the grave!

EDIT: Just had a game where the AI was incapable to attack the Hospital, last enemy base left. It did attack it at first, but after the first wave was crushed, they just stood on the borders. Maybe they were afraid to die.

Right, I've identified the problem with the commanding AI trying to get the balance right in such a situation. Quite possibly the border/defense teams are getting too big so that moving them would make a particular block's soldier count go below a threshold which the commander wants to avoid, so the outcome is that the attack forces aren't getting enough soldiers allocated for the attack to launch ever.

I'll investigate it further, thanks for the help guys!
