gives us the ability to setup traps but to set the trap you need four grenades and then the guy will do the setup trap animation thingy

if booby traps arent achievable replace booby trap with land mines

Yeah, mines could be placed in the same stockpile as grenades. You could also add explosives (but that'd need some kind of destruction system, you know, to blow up buildings for example).
