In terms of the map, perhaps a static spawn point inside the town after taking down a few towers? This way you can keep your walking time low and if you abuse it then the AI will come and shut it down for a while. Maybe a crate with C4 here and there in exposed areas for those who need it but have to put themselves at risk. Also, since this is an enemy controlled town could you put a few trucks going in and out? You could even have them replenish or reinforce patrols and guards. I noticed in another map where I hugged a cargo truck he couldn't see me, even when I was inspecting his radiator.

One tidbit I liked was the Church overlooking the town center radio tower, provides a nice vantage point for VSS users.

My issues aren't really with the map, it's with the limited stealth options.

You have plenty of loud explosives, frontal assault tools, emplacements and many guns but stealth has.
- Pistol
- Sub Machine Gun
- VSS Vintorez

Also I found that the Brownpants SMG was really high capacity but had the close range accuracy of Cyril Figgis which meant I would be detected and probably shot before I even killed the guy.

Maybe you could add something like.
- Secondary slot suppressor for the faction specific sniper rifles
- Remote decoy grenade for prolonged distraction
- Backpack replacement ghillie suit that reduces AI visual detection check against yourself

This would give an option for long range picking to all and not just those who are lucky enough to get a VSS. A diversion device to break the unbeatable blob around objectives. And an option to forgo your backpack space and decrease your chances of getting caught. Also if it is possible, you could make the ghillie suit drop your detection chances in grass depending on stance, height, and movement speed.

Now my question is, what map is this map based off of or am I just seeing things?

You still can place flares around the map. You also have a spawn truck to work with. Just use those things wisely.
There won't be any other static spawn point added.
For the C4, just put a bunch of them into your stash (which is next to the farm armory). As there are several stashes around the map it'd be similar to having a few armories.

I got my inspirations from an existing town in the UK called the same as the map in RWR. I doubt anyone would have the same idea as me, so you probably never saw this map in an other game. Copehill Down

You missed one stealth weapon, teh mgl flasher is a stealth weapon, and it is really good for disabling large groups, though using it puts you out of having a kill weapon.

I could probably make some stealth weapons for sneaky types, hell already have a vest made, which jackmayol has at least 3 cosmetic copies of(use it as a marker for weapons testing)

Thing is unless some one can convence jackmayol that more stealth weapons are needed, it is unlikely for more to be made.

Though I have a few weapons, which I wish I could convince jack to add, though all of these would need to be reworked from teh wreck which is my tactical ops mod, if that ever gets fixed and brought up to current version, I can start working on weapons modes again and will probibly make a stealth themed mod.

suppressor mod assault
info: adds a suppressor to faction main AR's (m16, g36, ak47) at the cost of removing grenades from unit.
have made?: 50% have the guns modeled and made, 0.1 lower kill chance on weapons.

info: 45 round smg equipped with a suppressor
have made?: yes needs new sounds though

Cause I set it to be suppressed when I made it that is why. And jack hasn't changed it to not be suppressed.

That doesn't help much when it launches flashbangs that alerts the bots anyway. :roll:

Yeah, in my experience the Flasher is cool and see what it could do, but it draws a lot of attention for the Final Battle.

I still think there is a little issue with new player too low rank for anything silenced not really being able to run with people. It makes for some moments when you have to tell people that don't know any better to get the away from you. Although more are using the silenced pistol if that's all they have which is nice. And I haven't put much time into the newly adjusted Final Map, so I'll get some time on it before I make any major suggestions.

But for now I will totally agree that in Stealth the Flasher seems to draw a lot of attention.

After a long brawl in the map with over a dozen other players where stealth was impossible due to unsuppressed fire and the sheer number of greys, I figured a good addition. Put a Comms Truck in, that way our long pushes aren't suddenly rubber banded back by a mortar barrage.
