ok this is a cap the flag game mode idea, though instead of a flag the capture item is a nuke truck and instead of getting it to your base you need to get it to a launch position so it can blast the enemies base to dust.


concept: the map starts with the 2 teams holding 2 areas each there base and there launch zones. in the center is a non claimed area(can't be claimed). The objective of the map is to capture an abandoned missile truck and move it from the city to their launch zone. the catch the launch zone is right next to the enemy base, which will allow them to easily destroy or take the missile truck from you if not well guarded.


Note: this game mode can be set up for 3 teams with a progressive elimination aka you need to destroy both teams bases to win, while defending your own.


the map

capture the nuke takes place in a large abandoned military complex and the surrounding area, do to the fact it is a military complex it is designed for heavy defense meaning that fighting in it will be difficult. As for the bases they are tent bases set up with some vehicles and areas, all 3 sides do have one solid building (example the top base has a gas station, the lower left has a trailer park, and the lower right has a apartment complex). The launch zones are just empty ground near the bases.

note: when destroyed will causes a 3 damage blast for a 20 range area.




NOTE: idea in early concept stage, will flesh out the idea later and make a paint mock up for them map(maybe)... feedback on the idea would be loved right now as I have no clue if it is good or not.

The image above is 3 basic ideas for map lay outs (the blue line separates the ideas). the objective is for each team to get the nuke truck to the opposing teams cap point and destroy their base (the cap points are the yellow areas in the bases)


note the top right map is a minimal design for what I have described in the first post.
