Download the package, unpack it, set up server and admin settings, launch the RWR server and launch the gamemode script using screen.

Is there a specific part that is not working?

The way I'm currently doing it is using screen and having rwr_server running in one window and the script in another.

I still don't know what else to say to that. The way I run an invasion server is:

In the first screen window:

Code:

./launch_server

In the second screen window:

Code:

tools/php/php5 media/packages/vanilla/scripts/gamemode_invasion.php debug_output

Done!

Added instructions how to start the other gamemodes in addition to classic.

ok still not as much information as there needs to be so yea. in short you do ./launch_server afater that there is no information on what to do no step by step its guess work. can you please include afater you do xxxx and you xxxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxx you type xxxxx to get to xxxx to launch xxxx to have said game mode

btw not sure if your doing your guide with a gui or ssh as im using puty to do all this i have no gui interface

no i saw that but your not being detailed with the information you say run one sceen for Launch_server and another for the script. but you still not saying how do you launch the script. and i know this is asking a lot from some body but please i need a detailed guide on how to get a server on Linux up for this game. it has been days and i have still not got any closer or any newer information to help get this done
