I would just like to start a small discussion about Gnomoria. It's a Dwarf Fortress style game with a user-friendly UI and is in early development.

I was always interested in playing DF but the ascII graphics and ridiculous content put me off. I found Towns, a similar game that was also in early development but since then, with the introduction of heroes and the like, I've been turned off. Gnomoria seems like a reasonable alternative that looks like it is heading in the right direction for me.

Has anyone else tried it? What are your thoughts?

I've played a fair bit of it, needless to say it is a softcore version of Dwarf Fortress but it still brilliant.
