How do I make one?
All I wanna do is replace all the death sounds of the soldiers without replacing the vanilla files...

Like this?  You'll have to override all the 7 sounds, as it's currently hardcoded that the characters have 7 death sounds with those filenames. Character configs will be later exposed similar to what has been done with weapons and vehicles to allow further customization. |

I did exactly that, but I still get the default sounds. :/ Maybe something I'm going wrong? EDIT: I seem to have fixed it... Either by removing the "write protection" on the whole RwR game folder or by downloading and using another faction pack... :s |

Editing content under Program Files in Windows 7 is considered not-nice by default by Windows. The UAC (User Access Control) thing nags about it all the time and depending on your settings, it may prevent you completely from making changes I believe. Best to use an admin account, I'd guess. Good you got it solved though!
