Well, this is just an idea for mod of course

How about creating a mod with medieval weapons? bows, arbalests, swords, shields. is this even possible?
well imagine instead of an artillery strike you get a catapult strike instead, rocks falling from the sky, maybe fire rocks?

As somebody who has played Mount & Blade and Chivalry, I find the idea interesting... the problem arises when you bring the melee combat mechanic into play. How would shields work? What about parrying, etc? or will it just work the exact same as the melee in the current game?

Crossbows, bows, those would probably not be so difficult to implement...

Yea i also played M&B and modded there much things, but this game is different, i dont know almost anything about modding, just maps.
so i dont really know how to implent all of the stuff, needed much more expirience person

This topic gives me interest about weapons,, how it works and what can we do, the game is like a real life,if u play it you will learn.
