Hi,

Could anyone tell me how to make existing weapons to become purchasable by default? Like you can buy aks74u or f2000 from the armory even at rank Private?

Change that 0 to 1.

Pardon me for bumping this topic, but it seems pointless to me to make a new topic. :)

I've changed in_stock="0" to in_stock="1" for all weapons. But of the special weapons, only the L85 shows up.
These other special weapons are probably not tied to a faction or something, making it impossible for them to appear. (Wild guess.)
I've been searching in every file, but can't find where I would enable them to be buyable at all times.

Is it even possible? Or are certain weapons hardcoded to not appear unless you find a briefcase?

They also need to be enabled as faction resources. Take a look in factions\green.xml, grey.xml and brown.xml.

Hmm, if I would modify those files, wouldn't that also mean that the AI would spawn with these items?

Edit: Aw, I've unlocked them now, but the game can't display all the weapons. :roll: Oh well.

Yes, it would. If you want the items in armory but not used by AI, you can make it in_stock and set commonness to 0.0.
