Don't bother about description, main object isn't joke. The point is, that with new improvements that already made by developers for the factions allows to make more features with it in further. So I want to offer some things and ask for plans at the same time. Did you going to make ability to choise what factions do you want to fight when you starting new game, like if we have one more faction - blue, for example, you can chose gray vs blue, green vs blue, green vs grey etc. Or option for three-way fight (blue, green, grey each against other)? Suggestion (though it actual only if I receive a response to the question): Commonness value for each faction, that affects on npc spawn like if soldier from baddies he can spawn with AK47 with lower probablity than with G36. |

3 (or more) faction fights is a feature I'd very much like to see happen, mostly because I'm curious of how it would work out. It's not a particularly huge task to refactor the code to allow it, but it's currently not a high priority. It's is possible it'll fall of the list of features to do for 1.0-release, but even so, it might be introduced afterwards. Different 2-faction battle setups could be easily accomplished currently by having an overlay mod for each combination, overriding green.xml and grey.xml appropriately. You'd choose the factions from the overlay mod list when you load a new map. Faction-specific weapon sets is on the planned features list as well. |

Someone has clearly played DOOM 3. ![]() Yeah, 3 faction fights would be cool - though more factions is better, especially for PvP. Planetside (And other 3 team games) has taught me that sometimes 2 factions work together even though they're (in theory) supposed to kill one another. More factions makes it less of a "you're screwed" scenario for the team on the receiving end of this behavior, as (say with 5 teams) it's only 40% of the enemy players ganging up on you rather than 66%. |

Simple things is also impressive. Even with 3 usual factions, all as one going to destroy each other, the game will give a lot more fun to player than now. Given that such innovation will be one of the easiest. |
