It would be cool if you could dig down mines and put up stationary weapons like machineguns, hell even putting sandbags and building bases would make this game quite unique. Recoiless rifles.. etc

Another idea would be that you could get money from kills which you could then use to buy things like vehicles/tanks and the stuff i mentioned.

Putting some more RTS elements could make this game sick. Gathering resources.. Anything like that and you got one hell of a game.

yeh actually , stationary guns sandbags are damn good ideas. (did you mean with digging mines that digging a little hole for a mine or a tunnel to underground),if you were meaning underground tunnel. doesnt make any sense, but if a little hole for mines, that makes sense)

buying things....dont mind but i think it doesnt much fit to this. but it makes sense if theres main base existing where to get those.simply meaning that you could buy a vehicle and smaller things from main base. and from smaller points you could buy guns and nades but no vehicles
(but buying would be useless because theres vehicles and weapon crates scattered around map)

and the rts elements...i dont dare to answer to that.

maybe pasik or jackmayol could tell their opinions from these 3 suggestions

Engineers and the building of certain resources (barricades, walls, sandbags, mounted MGs) have already been confirmed for pre 1.0 release.

If you search "engineers" in the search bar on the top right, you will be directed towards a few threads about classes and support weapons which go into more depth.

About using a cash system, I'm not sure if this has ever been brought up before honestly. If you are suggesting something like counterstrike, the only issue is that there will only be a certain amount of weapons that numbers nowhere near the number in CS. However, it would kind of make sense because you can either wait for the AI to drop the weapon you desire, or you can use cash to grab the weapon from certain weapon racks. I believe these weapon racks were already in planning but using cash to get weapons is an interesting idea.

RTS elements are not, I believe, an objective of the game. There was discussion quite some time ago about where a player would be a "commander" and would direct general AI movement and formulate grand strategies. I don't think this idea was really accepted though. Gathering resources will probably not be implemented because there is no base building and requiring the AI to build its own base is going to be a hassle. Also, this game emphasizes the shooting aspect rather than the building and overarching command aspect.

The upcoming vague feature set known as "the engineer" on the irc-channel covers some of these. The main functionality would be creating sandbag walls for cover; mines and stationary weapons have appeared in the discussion as well. Having support for dynamic walls in the engine would also mean wall destruction, so I'd expect you to be able to drive through some weaker walls with a heavy vehicle and so forth. Design has been done to some extent but implementation hasn't started yet.

Before we can start that work, we need to get certain optimizations worked in (0.78), generalize the item system (0.78-0.80), introduce the next map and fix Insular Complex to bring it back in the map menu, and implement some ideas we have for side base objectives (0.80 I'd say).

Introducing currency in the game hasn't been seen fitting so far. We do have some plans for making it possible to call in certain types of drops if you have earned or found specific items. Depending on what you've got, you might be able to request a group of bots to be dropped to you to fill your squad or get vehicles this way. In a sense, it's not too far fetched to extend it by making it possible to convert your items to cash to buy some other items instead at a specific spot in the base, but I believe this addition will be post 1.0 stuff.
