I had a idea about debris. Not over the top fully destructible buildings. But just a little off the edges.Like walls that get chunks taken off when a certain amount of grenades or rockets hit.Or a building gets some corners taken off. Nothing too fancy. And map effects. I was thinking in a new map (When you have the time) there would be exploding barrels(Respawnable or placeable?) Mabye a nuclear plant when you miss or hit key parts of the plant for strategical purposes a slow moving glowing green liquid would poor out and flood certain areas. Then a soldier would have to go to a control console to poor it into the sewer to get rid of it. Kinda like Black ops radiation map where you use the console in near the tanks to open and close that big door?( except it controlls the flooding of a poisenes liquid.

How come the only thing I can think of is Rock2 from TFC?
...
Anyways, it would be nice if when rockets and grenades go off near buildings it paints a decal with particle effects (It depends on what kind of explosion it is too but... technicalities) to give the impression the building has been hit. Does this game support parallax mapping, or parallax mapped decals? It would help improve the illusion somewhat without having to actually model different exploded buildings or program proceduraly destructible buildings. Failing that, a typical black scorch mark should do fine.

Alternatively you could have ARMA2 style destructible buildings, but that requires modelling each building several times.

The best option would be OFP style destruction. I would put a video here to enhance the joke but I cna't find one. Just imagine a building, and then when it explodes it crumples like a sheet of paper in random directions... XD
