Hello Gentlefolks!

I was surprised that RWR is not on Steam's Greenlight! Is there a certain reason?

I think that RWR should take the chance to reach the audience on Steam! Gogogo! =)

I agree... I mean even if steam takes a lot like 30% of the income from the game...I think its worth it due to the big playerbase that steam has...so the more platforms to get players the better...I also think Gamersgate would be good... they are a lot better than steam in my opinion...cheaper.

I think it may because RWR is still unfinished.

Rubbish. 30% is peanuts if you look what a classic publisher took from you. Back those days we had a "good" deal that brought us 1,20€ per sold game of the 8€ it was sold for.

Sorry, but if you would actually use the link ive provided you would have notice that most games on Greenlight are unfinished. Actually, thats what Greenlight is about...

No, it's just that the community decide if a game is good enough to be released on steam. Since we want RWR to be released on Steam anyway, greenlight will be an option. We need to prepare some stuff first, like a nice multiplayer video with vehicles and such. We will use the session this evening for that, which will hopefully provide enough material to make a decent video. For that we need your help, so just join the tonight's session numerously ;)
