Hey guys if you want a tip to give you lots and lots of publicity try an e -mail to John Bain a.k.a.Total Biscuit The Cynical Brit , a gaming commentator on youtube with over 650000 subscriptions. He has a series where he makes a first impression of a game most of them are Indie Games im pretty sure that you will get a lot of publicity if you e-mail him:pr@cynicalbrit.com |

Thanks for the suggestion GabrielFW. I was actually contacted by someone from pr@cynicalbrit.com back in February, when we decided to wait for a more mature version of RWR for them to try. |

I believe one of the humble indie bundles caused Wolfire's website, or HIB's website to crash due to all the traffic back when it was first getting started. In any case, the Rock Paper Shotgun coverage is already nice, just gotta keep them informed when a major update has been released to keep the game in people's minds. Perhaps it would also help to get a bunch of guys together to create a multiplayer gameplay video. Not just with two guys, but with 12+ players. Since multiplayer isn't available in the free demo, people will want to get a piece of that action, I feel. Dedicated servers should probably come around before that happens though... |

A mutliplayer session video is our next task. It's just that we didn't fix a date yet. Maybe we should start to make it concrete. Since version 0.64 will most likely be released before this week-end, we may start a multiplayer session video right after that. Maybe this week-end. I have to discuss that with pasik. As for the dedicated server, it may take quite some time before it gets released, so we will definitely not wait for it before we make this video. |
