I uninstalled the game a few months ago due to the prevalent number of active trolls on the SAS Invasion server. I finally reinstalled the game today to give it another go, and was immediately met with another game with an incredibly effective troll. He kept destroying the spawn truck (on Final Mission I of all places) and blowing up teammates. I've now, again, uninstalled the game after just 10 minutes.

I suggested it before and with nothing implemented since to combat trolls in multiplayer, I present to you, again, Vote to Kick. This concept isn't new. In fact, Call of Duty (2003) already had it 12 years ago. It may have been around for longer than that in other games.

Allow players to vote on whether a player should be kicked from a server or not. Players can press N/Y to indicate their preference and once a short timer reaches 0, the majority vote wins. In case of Y, the player is banned from the server for X. X can be from 5 minutes to 1 month. In case of N, the player cannot be voted on again for another 10/20 minutes.

Frankly, it's quite outrageous that there's still no tool for players to deal with trolls after all this time. I know this is an indie game and I've played it with much love for over 3 years now, but this is absurd.

I never see these TKing peoples nowdays. Still i think your idea is good. As there is many servers and not too much admins playing.

I think QuakeWorld (Q1 multiplayer) had this in 1996 :-).

I don't play much anymore, but from what I've seen, there's less trolling than there was immediately after the release, but it still happens. I saw a guy troll people with nades and C4 on the final map as everyone was gathering stuff to fill up the first stash. That kind of thing is commonplace enough that no one really commented on it. The weird thing was that after a few minutes of trolling and robbing people the guy started playing normally.

Accidental trolling from noobs in vehicles still happens all the time, too, so that's still broken and it would still be useful to have an XP floor on drivers.

there defenantly needs to be a vote kick feature added soon, there is a guy named chris dorner, who is so big of an asshole that every time he gets on 50% of the server leaves... and I mean every single time. people would rather quit playing then deal with this asshole, and if It wasn't for my standing I would quit to.

this guy http://steamcommunity.com/id/Brunoisawesome

Today this guy got on server and instantly started with the insults.

IT is to the point that every time this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gets on he is either insulting some one or being a jackass.

Would be good to have some more active playing admins.
