I've been noticing a lot of (new?) players continuously lugging around a backpack and still trying to fight. Personally I think the backpack model and the character constantly repeating that they are carrying too much should be signal enough for the player that something is amiss, but apparently it's not the case for many people.
I also noticed almost nobody is correcting these players. When I tried it earlier today I never even got a response from the player.

I think this can be solved by adding a proper tutorial into the game, OR giving access to the game manual from the main menu. This would also help prevent irritation with new players not knowing how to heal, how to man vehicles, how switch weapons, how to view their inventory, how to use C4, why not to drive the spawn/armory vehicle into enemy lines, etc. etc. etc.

The current chat system is also pretty wonky when working with more than 10 people on a server. The fact that only the most recent 3 messages are shown and that the Commander himself spams 2 or 3 messages at a time and all the time isn't helping communications much. It's very easy to miss a message, both locally (short duration) and globally (max. 3 lines total). This could use a serious overhaul.

If you press f1 you can view the entire chat log

Some players like carrying baggage (the 33 RPG guy, etc)

As much as I am super excited for an expanding community and game popularity, it never fails to amaze me how many new players apparently decide to learn the very basics of RWR in co-op online. lol. I answer so many questions I never actually play.

When shooting with a backpack, the soldier even says "I can't shoot straight with this weight", so I'm not sure what else can be done. If a player doesn't understand that, there's no way we can communicate through to him except providing translations to their own non-English languages. If he doesn't respond to your chat either, chances are he doesn't understand you either.

If it is the language barrier, a tutorial / manual in English wouldn't help much at all.

Translations are a challenge altogether. With the font we are using, we don't nearly have all the alphabets available that would be needed for complete translations apart from just a few languages. We have zero knowledge about font editing so it's not among the near term features.

The 3 messages isn't exactly a chat system, it's the radio notification system. You can turn off certain radio notification types with the options if you're not interested. Open the chat log when chatting for a longer time.
