Could there be more commands in regards to formations that your squads follow in. The commands would be optional of course and would need to be key-binded, but the thought of changing formations would be awesome for keeping your squads safer in certain conditions. Mainly, if you could make your squad stick closer to you or span out when on the advance or in firefights.

I know you can change the Sqaud Type. But I think you know this too by now. Yet I am pretty sure I caught mention recently that "Type" maybe removed as it has no real function.

However, I wouldn't mind some sort of "Formation" option. But not really formations exactly, but behaviors.
Like:
Staying in Tight Formation (Close)

Spreading Out (Spaced)

Leading (Staying mostly in front of player, Screening)

Following (Moving Back and letting Player Take Point)

Flank Cover (Shifting to the sides of the player and Screening the Flanks)

HOLDING FIRE (If player crouches they hold fire until fired upon or until the player fires. Yet they try to avoid contact instead of charging in for cover and grenades. And if the player break off and runs the AI prioritize following instead of staying to fight.)

Basically Behavioral Changes instead of actual Formations.
I think this would be WAY more handy than the current "Sqaud Type" Options.
