Will more factions be added to the game?? Have factions like redsocks and blue blouses etc etc . . . allow players to potentially have up to ten factions battling for control of a map ![]() |

Vanilla will go on with 3 factions, with final battle variations for those 3 factions. Mods can of course have any amount of factions in a match, I think newa mod viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1020 had around 6 factions you could activate at once in a quick match. Not sure what's the status with the mod currently. Campaign mods can basically also have more factions but the vanilla campaign is adapted for 3, so there's some extra configuring involved if more are wanted. http://www.modulaatio.com/runningwithri ... hot129.png |

Ahhh the classic red vs blue. They should think about adding that in for multiplayer release. |

It seems to me that three factions are a optimal solution in the game or at most four(only for some of the biggest maps, but I cannot imagine exactly how it would have happened atm).But of course if you want to try any available mode, do it. ![]() |

If it was added, i wouldn't expect the actual match ups to be changed. It would still have to be 1vs1 faction or a 3 way fight. Making anymore than 3 factions per map would be a shit show. |

I've played games that let you have an arbitrary number of factions; it works fine for CTF and TDM type games. Subspace was great at this (faction size was limited to between 6 and 10 people, depending on the game type). This game doesn't have the population to support it, though. |
