Once again, here I am to spread the
Joy of possibly interesting ideas, featured in another set of 3 since I still believe all good things come in 3's
Barbed Wire (four-point)This particular bunch of thorny and stringy metal has seen countless games and movies, let alone its impact our world's history.
- Thought up with the idea of protecting crucial ally ways or MG nest.
- 2~3 times as long as the Cover Deploy.
- for use in equipment slot.
- can shoot through, but cannot use as cover or jump over.
- can be destroyed by a handful of grenades (maybe) or with the use of C4 or via steamrolling with a Tank (possibly other vehicles as well).
- can be "dismantled" by use of a really fancy pair of Wire Cutters/Pliers! see 3rd big idea below. VVV
LandminesMaybe not a upfront way to deal with your growing list of hated Greys and Browns, but definitely rewarding.
- Anti-Personnel mine with possibility of use on vehicles as well.
- I thought that maybe it coming in a variety of colors, it could blend in a bit more for surprise hits (grey for urban spots, brown for dirt, white for snowy weather)
- for use in grenade slot(?)
- can be destroyed pretty easily with a grenade toss or any type of explosive. Walking over one does this too...
- can be "dismantled" by use of foretold Wire Cutters/Pliers, check it out below!
Wire Cutters/Pliers Every good Engineer has a pair at his side, unless you are off-duty, then they are helping you pop tops off a beer bottle.
- Really useful tool with various other uses in mind besides for use with Landmines and Barbed Wire.
- for use in equipment slot.
- Although it seems farfetched, could be used for repairing other deployables, besides dismantling them.
- possible future use (way way far future, like 2024 when RWR 2.0 comes out) with snipping fence wires, or disabling vehicles.
- could be used for defusing other explosives such as C4 (other than blowing them up, like when they are on your teams useful utilities).
- and much much more!
That should just about cover it, if you think differently then let me know, because I'm sure these are a long toss down the hallway
