This idea is from user General Chaos, but I thought it was so good I wanted to repost it:

"Healing" a wounded(or not wounded?) enemy soldier should instantly "capture" that soldier, and when captures levels reach various designated amounts, map intel on trucks, radio tower, etc, becomes available.
