I've noticed that pretty much all of the maps in the game are some form of civilian sector and I also felt that invasion mode or just general gameplay was lacking depthy objectives aside from the main ones. so, combine civilians and side-objectives and the first thing that comes to mind is civilian rescue! r-right??

er, well, what I was thinking was, at some point during a skirmish, a VIP bot is spawned in an enemy base and the player is informed of their location. While the bot needs rescuing, it will either be running around the base, trying to find cover from enemies or it will be being escorted around by one or two enemy soldiers. Enemies will not fire upon VIPs (maybe because they are trying to ransom/negotiate something with them). VIPs will start following you immediately if they are not in the proximity of enemy units. Similar to cargo trucks, you must escort them back to an armoury or safe allied base to reap an RP reward.

does that sound neat? or does it sound not fun/counter intuitive/hard to implement?
