Post subject:  TOWs and their behaviour

Hello, it's me again!
Today I've experimented a bit with the TOWs but I really don't see any advantages to it instead of just using a simple LAW... I mean, it's so hard to hit a fast vehicle with it, because you can rotate the weapon only very slowly.
Therefore, wouldn't it be better if the TOW rockets could track automatically (only a very little bit) the vehicles (like in reality: TOW=Tube Launched Optically Tracked Wire Guided Missile)?

Here's a little Picture to Show what I mean:

By the way, I saw that the TOWs in Al-Tabul don't respawn after green has taken over the base. I understand that they are not that useful on the side where the green army is coming, but there aren't any TOWs on the other side of the base where the grey army is attacking as well. Is it intentional like this?

The TOWs were mainly to prevent vehicle rushing the first green base. Not really meant to be used by players and definitely not meant to be used again Jeeps. They're more for the AI to occupy and prevent green/grey tanks from free roaming the spawn base.

There's a bug with vehicles, or TOWs in this case, respawning on platforms which is fixed in 0.90.

in RWR the TOW makes 50% more dmg than a LAW as far as I can remember. Making you able to slightly guide the missile is out of scope, at least for now.
Maybe we should slightly increase the rotation speed or detection range as it's indeed easy to pass a TOW with high speed :)
