Lately I've been playing and watching a lot of World War 1 themed games and movies. Naturally when I returned to RwR I thought to myself, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if there was a map that was maybe a few major trench systems like a WW1 battlefield?" In order to not just be asking for a repeat of Stalemate I really felt like it should be 2-5 major trench systems all pretty parallel to each other with no real buildings, except for trench hardpoints or walls. I know it sounds dull, but with some stationary weapons and maybe something that the developers think of, it could be pretty cool. Perhaps with a dark, earthy color-scheme it could become a nice battlefield to look at as well.
