I noticed the menu buttons are activated with any mouse press. This causes confusion when Mouse4 which is say, bound to teamspeak, activates and sets a keybind or 'clicks' a button while talking and navigating menus.

Maybe limit menu navigation to LMB or a bindable keypress?

Now that I think about it, yeah - I've done this. (My TS is also Mouse 4)
