In order to enter a building, you would walk up to a door/window and press "space", or double tap "space" in order to breach the door (perhaps with explosives). The inside of the building would then become visible once you entered and the outside would be blurred out to represent line of sight. If you went to the second floor, the first floor would not be visible anymore and so on. Props for indoors like tables, chairs, beds would be nice.
Windows would give snipers more concealment and stealth in urban areas too. fighting indoors would also be a place where the Mossburg 500 and the MP5 would kick ass in :D
Right now many of the buildings are small, but i think it would be a nice addition to the game!

wat u guys think?

JackMayol is right, that is a lot of work. I agree it would alter the gameplay a lot in a positive way, but it's a huge task really.

Designing all the interiors of different floors or coming up with an algorithm to procedurally generate them, modeling the furniture for office spaces, kitchens, living rooms, bed rooms, shops, changing the render and physics systems to handle the modes of being in/out a building..

maybe some of the bigger/tacticly important buildings
or i would settle for just going up to a door and teleporting to the window for awesome advantage

I can imagine maps that take place entirely inside buildings, or entirely in underground caves and such, but not really in buildings. If the game were first person it would be possible, but with the way the camera works now... no.

Or you could just make and indoor map, win win right? devs dont have to rip their hair out over some indoor system.. and the people ASKING for an indoor herpderp, get that. small, indoor map.. perhaps a warehouse? I think so. ;)
