Is it possible to make a red laser line to the crosshair instead of small cross? It is hard to keep track of that small crosshair in the middle of the firefight, especially when your teammate decided to stop in your line of fire.

I would like to second this - red laserlike line would fit much better when come to aiming. Question is - would it not cause other problems, and is it possible to You at all?

It has been discussed in another thread. It's one of the usability issues we will experiment with post 0.90. A darkening / red line starting from the obstruction point to the crosshair is the latest first idea to go for.

this sounds awesome. sort of like the way 'dead nation' handles aiming.

it would probably work best as a found/earned upgrade though.

and if they were visible to other players you may regret using it.

Maybe a laser sight as an add-on for gun would be cool, with the obvious perks and draw backs of it.

But the red/yellow dot in the reticle for clear line of sight seems to work really well without cluttering up the screen.

This sounds like a good idea. If not weapon add-ons are implemented at least as an optional attribute on a few guns which were balanced enough to compensate for this. I guess one of the big drawbacks would be if the enemy saw your laser making you basically a big "I'm here, shoot me!"-sign.

Anyways the current system ain't so bad imo. It takes some time getting used to is all.
