I know that you have them in plans, but assuming that "Where are we heading in the short run?" list is arranged chronologically, I think you should take "dedicated servers" a little bit up the list. Game is great already and I see no reason why someone wouldn't pay for 50 slot server in some hosting company and start kind of server community (and that advertising "WE ARE ONE OF THE FIRST!" ). The only barrier right now I think is that practically every hosting comp. works on Linux.

I'm pretty sure that getting a Ded server thing going is either next or next next on the list of todos.

Dedicated servers were planed at a way later stage but we realized that the priority has to raise. I doubt that the dedicated server will be implemented in the next next release though. It's a lot of work that has to be done in that matter. In 0.64 the map will at least auto-restart when the map has been won so that you don't need to restart the game manually if you let him run in the background like serverFIN is used to be.

While the importance for dedicated servers has clearly increased, I doubt we'll see them before July. Vehicles, more maps and a lot of little fixes will need to happen before that too.
