My preference would be for it to signal an empty magazine only after you've clicked and nothing happens, though.

Actually I'd rather have that instead of an ammo counter on the HUD anyway. :]

This is actually a brilliant idea. I kinda wish we had some "difficulty settings" for the hud and map markers, kinda like how OFP/Arma did it, where you can turn that stuff on/off individually, and also have serverside settings for it.

As for the claymores I think they would be way more useful if you didn't have to detonate them manually, but then again that might lead to a lot of "incidents" involving friendly fire. Claymores being more useful in PvP is true, but it's kinda ironic since bots are usually more predictable than players. I remember C4 being used to great effect in team elimination, mostly because they were invisible behind buildings/walls. :P

One quickly made solution to what harr suggested could be to tackle it with the control helpers showing the reload key on the crosshair. I do hope people realize to turn off the helpers at some point tho, they aren't made that ugly without a reason.

4. Steam-invite

This sounds interesting. What and where is it in Steam? :)[/quote]

In some games you can invite friends to play. For example - you can click on them on Friend List and click "Invite to game". So the invited player gets message popup and when he click on it he's joining the same server. You can use it in many games like Left 4 Dead, Portal etc etc

Didn't get to read through everything, but as a new player i would love someway to look different from all the other scrub bots around me, even more so playing online. SOme new gear to change our looks would be cool even if its only cosmetic.
