So I jump in a server, break a crate and here is what I see



I picked it up and fired it, just for shits and giggles.
The game crashed and I've attached the gamelog, it crashed because the there was no recoil animation, but I can't imagin why it droped out of a crate in the first place.

heres where it might it a bit screwy, I had an overlay on by accident which added custom weapons to my game, I'd edited the APC HMG to add a differant sound file, but nothing else. I'll test this some more to see if it is my mod or not, just posting on here if its not

Are you sure you haven't edited the <commonness value> tag by accident?

Also, it may be possible that if the weapon overlay changes the order of weapons in all_weapons.xml and you had the mod while the server didn't, the server dropped a normal weapon but your game thought it was the HMG due to having assigned different ID numbers to weapons. (That may be wrong, I have no idea how RwR networking works).

Either way, the overlay is definitely at fault
