Ok, cool that the bottom map layer works at least.

I've now added some of the markers to the map view in the debug branch, can you try it again?

The crash according to log looks at least similar to the earlier being stuck case, so hoping it's not a different one now.

I've again removed half of the map view elements I enabled last time, hoping the problematic one is among these to further help pinpointing which one it is. Thanks again for staying and trying it out!

Cool, out of the 4 choices left I'm pretty sure which one it is, I'll have that enabled for the next try and we'll see if it crashes/gets stuck then.

It'll take a while for me to update the debug branch as we're finishing 1.35 update right now, I'll let you know later today when the debug branch is ready again.
