Sorry about the delay, we were pretty busy with 1.34.

I'll set up a beta branch in Steam called debug and make a custom build for Linux there, I'll let you know when it has been setup so that you can try it.

Ok, debug branch is up. You can switch to it in Steam by accessing RWR's properties in Steam Library, Betas tab, and selecting debug in the dropdown list. Steam will then download it.

Once it's downloaded, give it a shot. I've disabled certain things in the map view so you won't see it react to mouse input too much right now. If it still crashes/gets stuck, please send me the new rwr_game.log.

If it doesn't crash, let me know, I'll then update debug again.

Thanks! The log wasn't as helpful as I hoped for but it does still close out some cases. I've now updated debug branch again, this one is should be stable but let's verify that quickly before going further with the investigation.

One thing that bugs me a bit in the log was stuff such as "WARNING, loading vehicle, spawn point type not matching". Seems you're loading a savegame but such a warning indicates there's something weird going on about the save or the resources. It could be totally unrelated but you might want to start a new game instead to eliminate that variable from the tests.

Yeaaa... So.... Started new game, (quickmatch) and wasnt even showing up when pressing TAB tried to change key for M but map still wasnt showing.
I send log on email.

Thanks, as expected then. I wanted to verify that quickly before starting to enable anything at all in the map. Will update debug shortly.
