Hi,

Nowadays the game crashes immediately on launch. The game used to work fine, though I don't remember the last time I've played it.

I get this error immediately when launching the config, or after about 1–3 seconds when launching the game:



When launching the game, I also get a black screen.

I have tried:

Redownloading and installing the OpenAL drivers, as instructed in the FAQ

Restarting Steam and rebooting my computer

Disabling the Steam Overlay on RWR

Running the game and the config from Steam and from the Steam folder, as and not as an admin

Reinstalling RWR

Disabling my second monitor

Using Compatibility Mode (Windows 7)

Updating my mouse drivers (I have a Kensington trackball; I don't remembe whether I have been able to play with the trackball earlier or if I had a normal mouse)

Btw, some days ago I updated my AMD Radeon drivers (to 16.5.2).

The error/exception "Win32Mouse::Win32Mouse >> Failed to set format" might have something to do with libGDX? Or Ogre? I don't know.

Any ideas?

I plugged in a wireless USB mouse, and it works now. I unplugged the wireless mouse and could then continue playing with my trackball mouse, nice. But without the wireless mouse plugged in, I still can't launch the game. Guess I have to plug in the wireless mouse every time I want to play.

But anyway, now I can play. :-)
