I had some performance issues in large fights, as this computer is what it is, still was very fun!I think I need to buy a prepaid card.

So, today I found about this game in King Arthur's Gold forums, and it looked great, so I downloaded the demo. I installed it, restarted the computer, (checked with Avast) and ran the game. In the startup I got an error which said d3dx9_42.dll couldn't be found. So, I reinstalled it, still the same problem. Has anybody got any idea how to fix this? Some performance optimizations have been made during the beta versions, but the game is somewhat resource hungry anyway, and as always, there's still plenty of places to optimize further. I'm developing/playing it on a 2008 based PC with a medium budget (at least it was back then  ) graphics card ATI Radeon HD 4830, and it's around 50-60fps, also in the really heavy fights the new "map2" tends to produce.I have plans to update the demo in a few weeks, so the demo-players would also see how the most recent version of the game is, especially performance-wise. |
