Hi, after reading http://steamcommunity.com/app/270150/discussions/0/35219681575668572/ i tried to start the game without steam, which crash with a memory violation. One of the problems seems to be a mix with the libraries provided by the game, and the (more recent?) libraries provided by Fedora 21. After deleting all unnecessary libraries with Code: [xyz:~/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/RunningWithRifles/lib]$ for file in *; do [[ -f /usr/lib/$file ]] && rm -v $file; done „libcom_err.so.2“ wurde entfernt „libcurl.so.4“ wurde entfernt „libfreetype.so.6“ wurde entfernt „libgcc_s.so.1“ wurde entfernt „libGLU.so.1“ wurde entfernt „libgpg-error.so.0“ wurde entfernt „libgssapi_krb5.so.2“ wurde entfernt „libICE.so.6“ wurde entfernt „libidn.so.11“ wurde entfernt „libk5crypto.so.3“ wurde entfernt „libkeyutils.so.1“ wurde entfernt „libkrb5.so.3“ wurde entfernt „libkrb5support.so.0“ wurde entfernt „liblber-2.4.so.2“ wurde entfernt „libldap_r-2.4.so.2“ wurde entfernt „libncurses.so.5“ wurde entfernt „libopenal.so.1“ wurde entfernt „libresolv.so.2“ wurde entfernt „librt.so.1“ wurde entfernt „libSM.so.6“ wurde entfernt „libstdc++.so.6“ wurde entfernt „libuuid.so.1“ wurde entfernt „libxcb.so.1“ wurde entfernt „libxml2.so.2“ wurde entfernt „libXpm.so.4“ wurde entfernt „libz.so.1“ wurde entfernt it's possible to start the game with the launch_game.sh script. Now my question is: *) are you supporting other distributions than ubuntu? *) if so, should i provide some logfiles/crashdumps etc. (and where to find) to maybe fix the problem? Kind Regards Roidal |
