Post subject:  problems launching game on steam?

hi i seem to be having a problem launching RWR on steam, along with the configuration. as soon as i launch the game it starts up but then immediately closes and an error box pops up saying the following:

an exception has occurred! orgre exception(3:RenderingAPIexception): cannot create device! in D3D9Device::createD3D9device at ..\..\..\..\..\rendersystems\direct3d9\src\orgreD3D9Device.cpp (line 707) [spoiler]. i tried launching the game with the -dxlevel 81 launch properties but that didn't work either i tried verifying the cache and reinstalling the game but the same error message appears

my pc specs are : Windows 8.1
AMD A10-4600M APU with Radeon HD graphics 2.30GHz
4 GB of ram
64 bit type operating system
DirectX 11
me and my friend think it might be something like rwr not being able to find the directx folder

Does it still happen after you restart your computer?
This usually fixes such issues for some reason.
