Tested on Archlinux (forget which version. One of the newer ones, though) and Lubuntu.
Cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo
Gpu: Geforce 9600M GS

When I load up the game, things work pretty well to begin with. I can load up the config, and it works just fine. When I start the game itself, though, things start messing up. Essentially, my system locks up, and the game window fills with a distorted version of what I had on my screen. Which is odd, to say the least.

If you need any more information, I can try to provide some ^^

You could send me ~/.running_with_rifles/rwr_game.log at support@modulaatio.com, maybe there are some clues what's going on.

Have you tried any other combinations of settings selectable in the config? At least it's good to check if it's any different between fullscreen and windowed mode, and turning off antialiasing for example.

Putting it in windowed mode didn't make a difference, and neither did toning down the resolution. However, turning off anti-aliasing seemed to do the trick, interestingly enough.
Not sure how relevant the log is anymore, since I'd think it's now logging the functional version of the game, but I can send it anyway, if you want?

Edit: Sound appears to be nonfunctional now. I'll tweak a couple things and see what I can do from my end o:
