Hello everybody, I'm running Manjaro (Arch fork), 3.19 kernel and bumblebee drivers installed (proprietary). I have a nvidia 710M. The game run smoothly, but eventually there is an annoying red thing (see attached pic) making the game unplayable. On another pc (running windows), everything is fine. Any linux users have an idea ? My system is up to date, and every other game I have work flawlessly. Thanks for your time.

Now that's a weird one, haven't seen one on Ubuntu. It looks like a vertical plane. Is it a certain location where it is or does it move in someway? You say eventually which sounds like it suddenly appears and then never goes away, is that right? The screenshot doesn't show any shadows. Do you have shadows switched off or are they just not rendering? There's also a short time when the day turns to night and vice versa when shadows are not rendered, could be related.. the time is pretty short though, so I would've figured you'd mention it if the red thing just stays there for ~5 seconds tops. Can you post ~/.running_with_rifles/rwr_game.log to e.g. pastebin (or send it to me at support@modulaatio.com)? |

Hi, sorry I couldn't reply before today. It moves, and it flickers when you move. I switched off everything, I'm only keeping native resolution. I'm sending it to the log by email. I forget to tell that I'm actually this is the demo version, I actually wanted to check if my lap could handle the game. EDIT: The windows version runs fine with playonlinux! I can't explain that ! |
