Hi, I just bought RWR within Steam. I have an iMac. So, when I press play in the start screen in Steam I can press play or configure. In both cases I immediately get a crash log. Can somebody help me out? Below the log when I press play: Process: launchd [2975] Path: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Steam/*/RunningWithRifles.app/Contents/MacOS/RunningWithRifles Identifier: com.modulaatio.rwr Version: ??? We discussed about it in IRC, but I'm writing it here too if someone else has a similar issue. This is the problem: Quote: OS Version: Mac OS X 10.7.5 Currently, RWR is built on a Mac that has Mac OSX 10.9.5, which basically means 10.9 is the current lowest OSX version where RWR runs. I've briefly read on the interwebz that there are ways to obtain older Mac OSX SDK's to be able to build software to run in older versions, but right now, it's completely in the dark how one makes this happen and how much do I need to adjust the build process to fit it. If updating OSX to 10.9 or newer is an option for you, then that's awesome. I can easily understand it might not be; I have no idea if Mac OSX updates are free, for instance. The version requirement is shown in Steam in the minimum requirements for Mac, and there's also a demo which is always good to try out before making a purchase, given how Steam is rather bitchy with their return policy. |
