Well, it turns out that by the end of the night my Macbook logic board completely gave out. So it had nothing to do with Steam or the game itself. I just need a new computer

Hello! I just purchased this game through Steam and I can't seem to get it to run on my Early 2011 15'' Macbook Pro. I can get past the loading screen and to the main screen but then the screen seems to split (for a fraction of a second) and the monitor goes black and the sound goes out. There is nothing I can do but restart the computer and there is no crash report generated. Here are my specs: Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB and AMD Radeon HD 6750M OS OS X 10.9.4 A couple months ago I had to replace my motherboard on my laptop. I really hope it isn't going out again, as they only have a 90 day warranty but other games like Kerbal Space Program, Team Fortress 2, TellTale's Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead all seem to work fine, so I am not sure of what the issue is. I really would appreciate any help you guys can offer. This game seems like a lot of fun. |

That seems pretty odd alright. Can you try turning off full screen mode in the config tool and then turning off all of the visual options in-game in Options / Quality and performance options? Does doing that have any effect on how quickly it goes black and mute? |
