Hello!

I just purchased this game through Steam and I can't seem to get it to run on my Early 2011 15'' Macbook Pro. I can get past the loading screen and to the main screen but then the screen seems to split (for a fraction of a second) and the monitor goes black and the sound goes out. There is nothing I can do but restart the computer and there is no crash report generated.

Here are my specs:

Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB and AMD Radeon HD 6750M
OS OS X 10.9.4

A couple months ago I had to replace my motherboard on my laptop. I really hope it isn't going out again, as they only have a 90 day warranty but other games like Kerbal Space Program, Team Fortress 2, TellTale's Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead all seem to work fine, so I am not sure of what the issue is.

I really would appreciate any help you guys can offer. This game seems like a lot of fun.

That seems pretty odd alright. Can you try turning off full screen mode in the config tool and then turning off all of the visual options in-game in Options / Quality and performance options? Does doing that have any effect on how quickly it goes black and mute?

Well, it turns out that by the end of the night my Macbook logic board completely gave out. So it had nothing to do with Steam or the game itself. I just need a new computer . But thank you for your assistance!
