Ok...just a quick question, where should I put the geoinfo.xml file...exactly?

In the server root or somewhere else?

The server root folder should do it, next to rwr_server(.exe) and lads.

Code:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
-<geoinfo>
<location value="United Kingdom"/>
</geoinfo>

This is right?
It's right where it should be, most odd!

There's an odd minus sign before the first geoinfo tag.

Try this instead
Code:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<geoinfo>
<location value="United Kingdom"/>
</geoinfo>

The "-" has just come across from Notepad++ it's not really there :)

The interesting thing is that my server says "United States" rather than unknown!

This is indeed pretty baffling.

If we eliminate the differences here, give this a try even if it doesn't really make much sense that it would make a difference: http://modulaatio.com/runningwithrifles/geoinfo.xml - download this file and place it at the server folder.

Is it possible that it would be a file read permission issue?

Will give this a try as soon as there aren't 30 people on the server!

Still no luck :(

Unless it's the file read permission issue, I'm without ideas here.

I just made it work today on the Australian server and Singapore yesterday. I used the geoinfo.xml from modulaatio.com and just changed the word with the simplest possible text editor.
