Hey, as soon as I load into the menu and press play I get a crash.
Here's a pastebin of the rwr_game file

Thanks for any help!

If anyone else is having this issue; it seems to have been fixed when I disabled the in-game steam overlay by pressing properties and disabling it.

EDIT: There it is again!

That's an odd end to the log. Does it also produce rwr_crashdump.dmp file?

Yes. Do you have an e-mail I can send it to?

Sure, pasi.kainiemi@modulaatio.com would be the one.

The crashdump points to a moment of starting the render loop, and it should have "starting rendering loop" trace in the log just before the crash. This would be an indication that something goes wrong inside Ogre3D / DirectX, which usually means you can solve it by updating graphics drivers or DirectX.

As your log goes farther than that, I think the crashdump might've been from an earlier unrelated case.

Can you try if the quick games work? Maybe the issue is only related to campaign.

I tried; every time I launch the game now as soon as I get through the initial loading screen to the main menu, when it gets to that point, I get a blue screen, so it crashes my computer completely.
As for graphics drivers, for some reason, there are no drivers on the AMD website. For DirectX, as an indie developer myself, mine is completely up to date.

A blue screen would most of the time point to a serious driver / hardware issue.

I do find it odd that you can load the lobby map as you get to use the menu etc..

What happens if you run the game with a map as command line parameter to skip loading the lobby map and go directly to a quick match?

Steam comes with Set launch options in the Properties menu, you'd add there
Code:
map=media/packages/vanilla/maps/map2

Hey, yeah, it was a driver issue. Still crashed, got a new computer all together, and now all is well.
It's quite strange, but thank you for your help, everything is working and running wonderfully now
