| Post subject: | starting crash |
i download the file and extract it, no problem, but when I start the game (select Start Running with Rifles) it loads up the little black box thing (the one with code and stuff), then it disappears, then the actual game comes up but nothing loads, it just says rwr_game.exe has stopped working. any ideas? this is an awesome game and i really want to play it

Take a look into rwr_game.log under rwr-folder, can you spot anything more informative there at the end of the log? You can also paste the log here so we can take a look, the last 40 lines should be enough usually. More often than not, it helps to update DirectX 9 at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35, and update your graphics card drivers. |
